I used to have this CD and then I found it for 53 cents today looking for the Larry Graham boxed set (someone beat me tot that one ). I forgot how great this album was and how absolutely groovy Jonathon Maron's playing is. That man may be the funkiest Puerto Rican in world, which means he is a pretty doggone funky son of a gun!!!

Every time I listen to him jam, I wonder why I play a five string bass. He gets so much out a four. For those who don't know, he is the bassman for Groove Collective too. I like Andrew Levy and the bassists with Incognito, but Maron is an Acid Jazz titan!

I remember he was in Bass Player a few years back. They showed his basses. Nothing special at all! But he gets such a great sound out of them. He displays them proudly on the website. Your right that man can get down!!!
