RHCP, Radiohead, Beatles, and MGMT Bass Arrangements

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,

I hope everyone is doing well. I usually don't post in this part of the forum since I study upright bass (I do play electric actually), but I thought I could use some feedback from you EB players.

I would like to know what you think of my arrangements. Accompanying the audio arrangements are videos. Everything you hear on the video/recording was used by an upright bass that I played and filmed. The audio was all filmed with the Zoom H4 and the video using a Canon HV20 HD Camcorder. The bass I am playing on was made by Chris Threlkeld. It is his 15th and newest bass to date.

RHCP - Can't Stop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_dttkuqJwM

Radiohead - Reckoner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhrXPacCPY0

MGMT - Kids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTFloiNAB1I

Beatles - Because: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EStB94Y28UQ

Ok, ok, so I'm trying to get more views, but I really want to know what you all think of the arrangements.

Thanks so much!
Steve

As always, be especially mindful of intonation in thumb position. I'd bow a tad higher. Sounds good otherwise though.

Awesome job man, I really dig it. There were some intonation issues in a few spots, but you blow me out of the water so I'm not trying to talk trash.
