The title of this thread got a smile out of me. Rich and Sean are not just great players individually, they are a great rhythm section together.

Some of the Dapp tunes, as a listener, it can be hard work keeping track of the one throughout, but they know where it is at all times. They are as strong and sure as it gets.

Great stuff. I saw what must have been this tour at a small theatre in L.A. and it was my first real introduction to M-Base music. It blew my mind how deep these guys had this thing together. It was also interesting in that sitting next to me was Bobby Columby who was rumored to be instrumental in getting Jaco his record deal way back when.
If you dig this stuff I also recommend "Quite Sane- Child of troubled times". It's similar in nature and has some great bass by Anthony Tidd.
This is some committed stuff and thanks for the links.
