Richard Bona's New Album, TIKI

Sign in to disble this ad
So I was just cruisin' the net, and I go to Richard Bona's website (http://www.bonatology.com) and he is releasing a new album tomorrow!!!!!

Its called Tiki. There are clips on the website, and it sounds incredibly sick. It sounds very mature, more mature than some of his other albums.

I think im gonna have to order this one. It just sounds too good!!!

I have been checking his site quite often for info on this. Older news on his site mentioned a new album for 2005, but nothing had been said recently. Thanks for the update!

oh man, I love Richard Bona, I met him at the Atlanta Jazz Festival. I like everything I've heard by him. Not only a great bassist, but an angelic voice and great songwriting skills!

FANTASTIC - Unfortunately I can't find it on Amazon.com.... shoot.

If it's more mature than his previous records, I might just have a heart attack.

bump.

I bought this today after also buying African Tale DVD last week. Bona is really something else. a true musician in every sense of the world. Unfortunately the music on TIKI isn't really my style most of the time, but I can really appreciate it and it's good when I'm in that need to be relaxed mood. Has anyone else picked this up? I'm having an extremely hard time being convinced there is a better musician living today.
