Rick Wakeman's "Six Wives" album

Just been listening to this again after playing with rather nice acoustic piano, Hammond and Rhodes patches on my Yamaha SY85. Not that I'm up to Rick's standard.

Anyway, the bass on "Anne of Cleves" struck me as beiing way cool. I hadn't really paid much attention to it for, oh, 30 years or so.

It's a bassist called Dave Winter. Can't say I've heard much else he ever did - could anybody out there throw some light on this guy's work for me?

Can't help you since I haven't heard that recording since 1976....I do recall playing "Catherine Of Aragorn" in my HS garage band (& played live twice for some HS variety shows).
The drummer & the piano player(my best friend at the time & still a pretty happenin' keyboardist/guitarist in this area) had it down. I know I didn't!
