I'm not trying to offend you, it's just a common mistake some people make.
It was incoherent. Throwing a heap of building materials together is not yet a house. You have to build up the groove. Keep little motives you start from and where you get back to.
You have the technique, just don't loose sight of that important part about musical instruments: music. There's a point beyond which virtuosity sacrifices musicality.
IMO and no hard feelings.

The "solo" was quite boring, but I am not wondering at all why he wants to do tapping stuff on that instrument.
