"Ring of Fire" cover?

Sign in to disble this ad
My band leader is out of the province so I cant ask him. He wants to do a cover of Cash's Ring of Fire. He mentioned some artist that covered it and rocked it up a little. I'm trying to find that version of the song. Anyone know who the artist is? And no, I dont think its Social Distortions version.

We cover this song, loosely based on the Social D version. I am not familiar with any other hopped-up covers other than that.

Easy tune that goes over well in pubs, great to extend if the crowd is getting into it.

We cover it. We have a female singer that sings it in G. It's kinda Alternative Country/ Rockabilly/ Hot Chicken Pickin', etc. Goes over big everytime.

I found Jauquene (sp?) Phoenix version on the Walk The Line soundtrack. Perfect!
