Rock N' Roll Bass - Do you like?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys and girls,

The band and I has just recorded 3 more songs in the Jailhouse Studio(Helloween, Pretty Maids etc...)

I was wondering if you had any comments to bass sound etc.
Please take a minute to listen to preview tracks on this site:
http://www.badboysofboogie.dk/media.asp

PS:
1) I know that it's only 45sec. sound-bites - sorry.
2) The site is in Danish - please ignore

I'm looking forward to reading your comments.

Excellent Renditions.
Very Good Recording sound.

However, the Bass seems shy in the mix.
Level is a wee bit low.

Otherwise, Rock On!

Hi Finger Blister,
Thanks for your comments.

I'm quite satisfied with the Bass myself.
I like the Bass Raw and live - like it is on the recoding (IMHO)

I agree with you regarding the levels on "Born To Be Wild". I would have liked the Bass Riff to be louder

Hi Smash,

Thanks for your kind words and adwise.

Sounds great, but the bass isn't loud enough, like said before.
I really like your sound, I'd like to see it live

Hi Dees,
Thanks for your comment.
Regarding the visual wish, you can see the 3 LIVE videos on the site.

I know the sound is crappy, but hey - It's Rock N' Roll

Hej,

Lyder Fedt, håber at få lejlighed til at høre det live. Bassen kunne godt være mixet en anelse dybere vil jeg mene....men overall lyder det dælme fint.....Jacob

It sounds excellent. You guys are really tight, and the covers are solid.
