Roscoe Beck has put out a solo CD with 10 original tunes. Looks like it was released last month.
Anyone have this yet? You can check it out here. The CD is called Walk On
I love the samples. I just put in an order for one. |

- Eric Johnson needs no introduction.
- Malford Milligan is an outstanding vocalist, and, merely FWIW happens to be an albino black man and has a very interesting look. He was in a number of my finance classes at UT around 1990.
- Kim Wilson, on harmonica, is the lead for the Fabulous Thunderbirds.
- Omar Dykes leads up Omar and the Howlers
- Mitch Watkins is a monster on guitar and mostly plays with Lyle Lovett these days.
- Brannen Temple is a drum prodigy who came out of (I believe) LBJ High School right about the time I came out of Westwood in Austin.
Worth checking out just on the names of the sidemen!
Interestingly, the pictures on his site show a Fender RBV with a maple fretboard. I thought the maple board was only available on the IV. |

I guess putting out the RBIV made him rethink a few things.
