Roxy Music- Lover

This song is my favorite Roxy Music song. It's from 1980 (It think) and was featured on the Miami Vice II soundtrack. I always thought it was a Fender Jazz Bass (bridge pickup) on the song. I got some feedback on the issue of the bass used. The individual said it was a Wal JG Bass. I have no reason not to believe that. You might enjoy the song and it has a prominent overdubed second bass line/countermelody as well:

Roxy Music must hold some kind of record for changing bassists. John Wetton really rips on the above clip...he originally was pals with the band and told them he'd help them audition bassists. They were all terrible, so he said what the hell....I'll do the tour.
I just saw a video complilation of Roxy...the first bassist used a Jazz, the second, a Gibson, the third, a Rickenbacker, Wetton with his P--there's got to be a few more but each bassist worked great with each version of the band.
