| Roxy Music must hold some kind of record for changing bassists. John Wetton really rips on the above clip...he originally was pals with the band and told them he'd help them audition bassists. They were all terrible, so he said what the hell....I'll do the tour.
I just saw a video complilation of Roxy...the first bassist used a Jazz, the second, a Gibson, the third, a Rickenbacker, Wetton with his P--there's got to be a few more but each bassist worked great with each version of the band. |
