Just wondering if anyone's heard anything?

If Geddy's been using the Ric on the last tour......who knows? (Here's hoping!) If he didn't use it live....but started to, how's about using it in the studio????

Looks like Rush will be touring this year. Great! Gotta save me some of that income tax refund for this!

I hope they tour this year, but it's all still rumor for right now.

I just got the Snakes & Arrows Live DVD yesterday, very impressed, best sounding DVD they've put out so far. It was cool to see him play the Ric for a song, but I actually prefer the tone he gets from his Jazz bass, at least on that recording. His Ric tone on the Exit Stage Left video is amazing, though.

Europe 2011 - hope so.

I suppose the good news is they have been 'fairly' active since 2000.....!

I'd love to catch them live.

I've not seen the whole thing - but from what I've read on TB - I believe Ged dug the Ric out for 'A Passage To Bangkok'.

Apparantly, he was quite reluctant do so so!

Yup, he used it for 'Bangkok' (haha, I said Bangkok)

He said he won't use the Rick regularly anymore because it's way too heavy for him, the neck is chubby, and his Jazzes have got more low end.

Yeah, his Jazz basses do have more low end. Regardless, it was nice to see the Ric when I saw them live and on the DVD. I still need to watch the special features on the set.
