| Sampling of effects/amps/basses

Not sure if this goes here, but I'll give it a shot.
I was browsing through a thread at my dads (I don't even remember the forum it was under) and someone pointed out a site where you could listen to different effects/bass/amp combinations, but I couldn't because I had quicktime issues.
If anyone knows of a site, what thread it was, or the thread in question, I'd appreciate some info, thanks alot.
ps I think the site was something like bass tasters but google gives no results.
