I must be living in a cave because I just found out about this last night! Anyone here have it? What do you think? I only heard bits from certain songs but really like what I heard.

I have a copy. I like most of it. Stand-out track: "Sunshine Of Your Love." Wow.

I'm not too crazy about it or any of his output since he hooked back up with Clive Davis. But, I sure do understand why, and I'm happy about his increase in cash-flow since then.

* as always, some great playing from Benny and the band though......

Overall it's OK, but the version of Why My Guitar gently weeps has a great grove.

That's my favorite song on the album!

So maybe I'm better of just getting certain tracks I like, rather than buying the entire CD?

It is a departure from his usual guitar playing style and I like it.

Their version of " Back in Black " is an abomination. Completely killed the Rock that is ACDC. Whole lotta love sounds pretty cool though.

I've heard it. Some of it sounds pretty cool, Whole Lotta Love especially, but it feels like a completely unnecessary record. It was probably thought up in the board room rather than the rehearsal room.

I have it as well. I agree with Electracoyote, Sunshine Of Your Love is great. I like the first three tracks and found the rest of it hard to listen to, especially Back In Black. While he has some great guest appearences here, I found this release lacking. I think you would be happy with the first three tracks. There may be some others in there. I usually just purchase the mp3 album through like amazon for like $10, but felt the need to get this one on cd and now wish I would have gotten the download of it. I guess, I am a little unusual because I love cover albums, such as Jake E Lee - Retraced and George Lynch - Furious George (two of my favorite cover albums), but this Santana release left me greatly dissapointed. Also, I really like a couple of his collaberations with Chad Kroeger earlier on, but none here. I'm sure you'll get some more input on this here and you will be happy with just some of the tracks.

I just listened to the Back In Black cover. That goes into the what were they thinking category. That is just downright awful.

I bought it.

You get Carlos on every song, Benny on every song, Dennis Chambers on every song, the Santana percussion guys on every song... that's good enough for me! Sold!
