Santana - Moonflower (Live)

This is a really great album. A mixture of Rock, Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Latin it really cooks. A lot of jamming and solos (a nice one by the bassist). The bassist is really cooking on this record too. One of my all time favorite records for sure.

Any one else dig this record? Thoughts?

I have it and I really dig it too. Great band on there! It really stands out as far as live albums go - sound, atmosphere, packaging and all. As for Carlos - this album presents the third and last time he would ever play something I would describe as musical (Woodstock and Caravanserai being the first and second).

I think the playing was a bit sloppy - exciting but ...
