Question Saturday Night Fever- is it a Rick?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, I'm schooling my son about the Pop musical timeline and we are square in the 70's. He loves the Bee Gee's when they come on the oldies station in the car, and I must say I'm enjoying them too. My question to youz is - What kind of bass was used on the Saturday Night Fever LP? I've always thought it was a Rick with a pick but I have no evidence.

Maurice played a number of Rics throughout his career.

Here's a nice story about him here -
