Is there any possible way to do this, like on video.google.com?

You can't really. I think that's the only reason Youtube is legal is because you stream everything at a low quality. I know there is no "Save as" function. There might be some complex roundabout sort of way, but to give a short answer, no.

Here's how:

1) Get Firefox 1.5 if you don't already have it.
2) Install this plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...cation=firefox
3) Get out of and then reopen Firefox.
4) Come back here, right-click and Install this javascript: http://www.joshkinberg.com/blog/file..._to_me.user.js
5) Go to You Tube and view a video. You'll now see a red bar at the top of the screen telling you right-click to save the video. When you do that, just rename the file as [filename.flv] from the original get_video.php.
6) Download and install CinemaForge: http://www.download.com/CinemaForge/...-10410160.html
7) Open your .FLV file with CinemaForge and then click "Encode" to convert the FLV to a WMV.

That's all there is to it. It sounds like a lot, but it works easily.

Going against Google videos, it's only a matter of time. They could however make the videos more secure.
