Flame away, but thats one thing I never take from TB.. If you like a band, so what? I dont affect you.
But yes, they are... different.

All pop music uses what works -what keeps the dollars flowin in-they are a one dimentional band makin some serious mula -maybe they aren't in the biz or all the right reasons but i doubt they ever have to eat canned corn 3 meals a day and worry their power will be turned off

More power to them if people like and buy what they record.

. | Don't care too much about the money, but I would love to be playing to the size of crowds they get |

| | | | I like the earlier Nickelback; up to The Long Road. All The Right Reasons has some good stuff on it, but you can hear that the band is losing the edge and softening up. |

But yes, they are... different. | Different from other bands maybe, but all their songs sound the same =P They do not have a whole lot of diversity... I think bands without diversity are ****. Surely they might make a hit once in a while because they have a good formula. But using that formula again and again and again is just the same as selling-out. Nickelback are sell-outs!! |

| | | I don't have a problem with them.
They sure aren't the only band that write formulaic songs. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
