I enjoy Nickelback, have their last few albums.

Flame away, but thats one thing I never take from TB.. If you like a band, so what? I dont affect you.

But yes, they are... different.

Thats funny. My wife loves them, and even though they are not my cup of tea, I have to admit they are the premier formulaic c*ck rock band in the world

I never really cared much or them but i can say that formula has made them millionaires and if that was their goal then in their minds they are successful. All pop music uses what works -what keeps the dollars flowin in-they are a one dimentional band makin some serious mula -maybe they aren't in the biz or all the right reasons but i doubt they ever have to eat canned corn 3 meals a day and worry their power will be turned off

They're making money... quite a bit of it... which is presumably what 99.523% of players here wish they could do given the chance.

More power to them if people like and buy what they record.

Why would you need scientific proof to prove something that self evident?

Don't care too much about the money, but I would love to be playing to the size of crowds they get

The thing that gets me is that roadrunner a classic heavy metal label signed them is making a killing off of them. Makes me wanna puke. Can't stand these guys.

I like Chuck Berry, Creedence and Everclear more than I like Nickelback but I think you could put together a similar clip for each of them.

I like the earlier Nickelback; up to The Long Road. All The Right Reasons has some good stuff on it, but you can hear that the band is losing the edge and softening up.

Different from other bands maybe, but all their songs sound the same =P They do not have a whole lot of diversity... I think bands without diversity are ****. Surely they might make a hit once in a while because they have a good formula. But using that formula again and again and again is just the same as selling-out. Nickelback are sell-outs!!

I don't have a problem with them.
They sure aren't the only band that write formulaic songs.
