Scofield's new Ray Charles album

Has anybody heard this yet? I guess it's not actually released for another few weeks, but I've been hearing a few tracks on the radio. They said it's actually Willie Weeks on bass! And apparently, guest stars galore. On the ones I heard, they were cooking pretty good.

There's definitely a bandwagon thing detracting from the power of the concept, but whatever. It's good to hear Ray Charles music played by kick-ass musicians that love it.

Haven't heard it, but just read the review in this month's Jazz Times last night (killer Sonny Rollins issue, big Rollins fan here). Sounded interesting, but the reviewer gave the impression that nothing Scofield did really stood out. Not surprising, his licks all sound the same to me after a while.
