Scored the Rocco Prestia Benefit recording!

Awesome! It's a recording of one of the benefits to raise money, with the Tower of Power group. They brought in some alumni and some friends in high places.. Check it out below:

Matt Garrison, Will Lee, Lincoln Goins, David Mann, Lenny Pickett, Greg Adams! It is seriously fonky. The horn players totally stretch out .. and Garrison kills on "Credit".

They do an 11 minute Earth, Wind and Fire medley, and a full "In The Stone"...

A few years back, yes, he had a liver transplant!
But with benefits and donations, money was raised and he's back to gigging with the group full-time.

I don't know if it's illegal to distribute it to TB'ers who would like copies of the recording? It's not being sold anywhere, it's just a 1 mic recording, so eh?? I'm not going to try to sell it or anthing, but want to make sure it's 100% legal IF someone wanted it and I obliged...

That reminds me, I have a DVD of that somewhere! My friends band, "Funk Filharmonik" was host for all that talent. Check out my good friend www.franciscocenteno.com he was the first player of the evening.

Oh that's on DVD? I had no idea! Is it possible there was more than 1 benefit and I have one that wasn't released?
