Last March on my NYC trip I managed to be there the only Thursday in like a 3 month stretch that AJ wasn't playing... I wept like a little girl for weeks.
Hey Erik!

Forced!?! , That's cool man... I have just worn out everthing I have of WK, now I have to resort to the D'L's.

Yeah man, AJ really doesn't do the gig as much as Tim and Hoenig do (these days)... I haven't caught AJ with WK personally, but I have caught the original trio that pretty much got the ball rolling in the 90's (Linc and Zack!!~!). I have seen only one gig with Tim and Keith and that was at the Berklee Performing center for Guitar Week back in 1999! Still one of my favorite trios.

If you are going to be up in NYC on the 31st of this month AJ is playing with WK3 @ 55, once he is back intown from his Chris Potter european gigs. I'm going to be up in Boston during 3/30-4/5... I'm debating to hit NYC and do the chinatownNYC to chinatownBOS bus... just so I could catch that 55 with AJ.... ahh my girl would kill me!

Just talked to Lian this weekends and I'm actually going to miss seeing Li and Fuze while up there (their european tour: SHT)...what crappy timing I have!

Wayne Krantz, eh? I haven't heard much about him. What's the recommended album to start off with?

Oh yeah...
Absolutely killin'!
I was thinking of lending it to a couple friends; I'm also thinking it's possible they may not return it!

Is that Lian introducing the band at the NYC show? Too bad her mic was off.

yes that is lian... that was the first thing that I mentioned. Either not to have that shot at all or have some sound to go along with her speaking into the mic.

I think that intially the mic was on, but it was just edited that way... Kinda adds a tad bit of chaos to the whole live vibe.

I've watched the DVD a couple times now. Amazing. I wouldn't lend that to friends personally. A bunch of musicians and I are planning to get together soon to spend the evening watching it.

Same sentiments shared here... Many of my musician's friend paws have been trying to borrow it... No one jose!

Enjoy that SHT DVD GTG!

I know this thread's old, but I just ordered a copy of the 2005 Screaming Headless Torsos CD from their site. I downloaded their 1995 album and some of the live tracks from iTunes onto my iPod.

Man, I can't believe I've gone this long without knowing much about this band. The music is phenomenal! They're fast becoming one of my favorite bands. I love the song "Graffiti Cemetery."

I can't wait to get my copy of "2005."

Chalk me up as a new SHT fan.

J-Rai...
Would you agree with me that the NYC show is 'better' than the Paris show?
"Word To Herb", anyone?

Recent 'Fuse' additions to my collection are-
KiF(I can't believe that it's a CELLO playing those basslines!) &
Trio + 2(w/ Cindy Blackman & Santi Debriano + Greg Osby & Jerry Gonzalez).
