It's "Kiss FROM a Rose"! Okay, now that that's settled... There are different bassists credited with having played on that album including Pino, Phil Spalding and possibly others (Luis Jardim is a percussionist but he played bass on Grace Jones' "Slave To The Rhythm"). The guy who did most of the bass playing on the album, however, was Jamie Muhoberac. The album sleeve doesn't give credits by song, unfortunately, so it's hard to know for sure who played on what.

Yeah, allmusic.com was sketchy at best. It only listed bass after one name - pino.

Jamie Muhoberac...interesting! I know he is a keyboard guy, but I didn't know he played bass also.

I remember hearing a story about his father, Larry. An older industry arranger said that Larry held a celebration party after one of his songs made it to like #82 (or some number like that) on the charts. This arranger asked him, "Why are you celebrating when it's only at #82?" Larry supposedly replied, "Because this time I know WHY it made it to the charts as high as it did!"
