Sign in to disble this ad
hello dear friends and cool cats!
my band, pollok & the parade, just recorded our second demo. and we want some comments.

were going to remaster it, just so you know... so, some tips for that would be like the cream on the mash (swedish expression).

so, check it out!

and of course, I'll give you a hint when the new remastered version is up.

Nothing to really help with production, I don't think I have an ear for it.

I'm just always glad to see bands keeping psych music alive. Nice and trippy. I love the organ sound. Cool jams all around.

okey thanks, i think you said almost the same about the first demo, and that's rock

one other thing...
were thinking of sending this demo to some kind of label.
does anybody have any experience or advices for that?
wich song should we show to them?
do you have any labels to recommend?

Not sure. Look for bands that have a similar style to your own, and find what label they are on, and send a full demo. Send to as many labels as you want, worse case scenario, they say no.

Hey, your last demo sounded great, I really dug it, and the new one sounds even better! The organ sounds are cool and I dig the bass grooves. Thanks for the great music

I didn't find anything, but is your album for sale? Or are you just demoing at this point?

Just curious, not sure if I can afford ANYTHING right now, but wouldn't hurt to mention if you are selling.

As soon as I had listened through the old demo it went straight on my iPod and then I listened to it some more .
"No Hats and a Rainbow" really has great bassplaying in it, had to listen to it a couple times in a row just for that, and "Captain Morgan" is great, it took me a while to remember why the name was familiar
