The bands and artists that I usually don't admit that I like are The Monkees, The Supremes, Adele, Elton John, Little River Band (great vocals), Orleans.

His music was dope though! Best funk/pop out there, and thats what you get with the best session musicians around, and Quincy Jones at the helm.
Otherwise, One directions song "you dont know youre beautiful" or whatever it is, is insanely catchy. I really like Tony Bennett and Dean Martin, which I'd cop a beating for if people my age found out.

Runner up would be Daft Punk. The discovery record, and especially the accompanying movie, were outstanding. Sadly my band doesn't want to cover Digital Love, they're such buzzkills... people give me weird looks for liking them so I guess that qualifies.

I don't get into the fact that one of my favorite live concert videos ever is Incubus at Red Rock. Of course, I have no trouble admitting that Ben Kenny is amazing, and we even have matching rigs (although his are 12s and mine are 15s). But that whole concert is great to me.

I think once you take the music out of the cultural context of its time and just listen to it on it's own merits a lot of the "guilt" goes away. Great music and great musicianship always speaks for itself.

After my wife kept using my secret as leverage against me, to get her way, I finally fessed up to my band mates and friends. They called me names (sniff) but I don't (sniff) care. I still like me some Bee Gees. |

| | | | I have started really digging some country artists lately and it took me a while to even admit it to myself....Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Zach Brown Band etc... A nice balance between musicianship and good song writing/story telling. |

Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen (most of her stuff)
Welcome to Paradise - Green Day (I don't usually like them)
Most Hip-Hop I listen to b/c I'm generally too white to be listening to Hip-Hop
Edit: Let's add Ke$ha to this lineup, considering I'm listening to her album Warrior for the second time today and enjoying every moment
