See/hear Minneapolis based band, "Oceans"

Hello all TB'ers,

Just here today soliciting some opinions on some recordings and performances from the melodic-rock band I play in called "Oceans"

Travel over to www.oceansmusic.net (which takes you to our myspace page). We recently played a show at a place called The Fine Line in downtown Minneapolis. There's a video from it on our page for the song "The Nightingale" It's a pretty moody piece - let me know what you think.
If you are interested or have time, give a listen to the couple of songs on our music player as well. I'm kind of fond of the bass lines I came up with for "The Other Side"
Any questions or feedback is welcome.

Not bad. Not my type of music though, but I bet you guys kick ass live. The live video was okay. Performance-wise: good stage presence by vocalist and bassist. The guitarist who is on stage right needs to liven up a bit. The lead guitarist was pitchy, bending notes too sharp quite often. The vocalist was pitchy whenever he sustained or held notes. Most likely, it was lack of being able to hear yourself through the monitors. I've found that's often the culprit whenever there's pitch problems. How loud are your amps on stage? The sound mix in the video was surprisingly good. Also, which night of the week was that at the FineLine? Did you guys get enough tickets in the door to get asked back? Just curious. Nice bass gear listed, btw. I bookmarked your myspace site, so I can catch a show of yours in the future.

Album Review of "Endurance"

Wow - a LOT has changed since I first ever posted this. If you haven't checked us out before, or haven't in a long time, we now have Rhea Cryingwolf as our singer. She has a great set of pipes!

Anway, The Ripple Effect has done a review of our album, "Endurance" and they are pretty stoked about it! Just thought I'd share it all with you.

Feel free to stop by our MySpace page as well.

Thanks!

Hey Pauly. How ironic that I commented in this thread all those years ago before we met, and now we know each other from A52. Congrats on still going strong.
