Thanks man, I will.

I'm not sure, we were just hanging out partying one night and I came up with it but then I said, nah it's probably taken but they all liked it so we kept it.

I listened to this recording and my bass is waaay too bassy. Can I fix this on like Audacity?

EDIT: I fixed the level on the bass (and shared it with the group).

Yes it can be fixed, having never used Audacity I'm not sure but if there is an EQ in it, but if so you can try and take some of the bottom out. Tweek the settings so you get exactly what you're looking for.

I however did not hear it as too bassy until you said so...my only other comment would be the level of the vocals in the beginning are low. Turn 'em up.

But really cool song, good job

Audacity has lots of processes including normalization, compression and EQ. Based on the above description, you might try compression bringing up the vocals, then EQ to knock down the bass.

Better of course would be to remix if you have separate tracks.

absolutely, I was under the assumption they were on separate tracks. compression on the vocals is good point too.

In the software I use there is also a "Mastering" plug-in and after I like the tone of each track and get the levels as close as possible I use the EQ and compressor within the mastering on the total project to make things pop and blend better. best of luck.
