"Sexiest" basslines.

Sign in to disble this ad
Doesn't have to be technical, doesn't have to be catchy, doesn't even need to be played on a bass per se. Just a bassline that simply feels "sexy"

I'll start with "Use Me" by Bill Withers.

(I gave a stripper a $100 tip once just because she danced to that song.)

The bassline to "No Ordinary Love" - Sade

Bassist: Paul Denman

Most of the basslines in her songs are simple and sexy as hell!

Ha! That was my first thought, too!

Paul Denman's work on "Paradise" by Sade is sexy.

There are so many (10 that I could list without blinking), I just placed one in there hoping that others would discover the rest on their own!

Since I just watched a Miles Davis documentary, I'll put Marcus Miller's basslines on the song "Tutu" are pretty sexy.

Which version? Harold Melvin & the Blue notes or the remake by Thelma Houston (I like the playing on the original better...phat, phunky, stanky, gritty, in your gut P bass! It even sounds like sex!) ?
