i really enjoyed the melodic sense and the chemistry in this bit... i mean, the concept of two basses isnt very hard to get around. one guy basically plays the guitar part... and the two parts dont conflict because the bass player will be in lower registers with bassier tone (finger) or a more percussive one (slapping)
however... keeping this distinction and remaining tasteful is hard to do... whether its because of a lack luster lead part or overly-showy playing... but they pulled it off
