Should I take down my bands myspace recordings?

Bad recording idea by Conformer here. We recorded these songs last April, and our singer used a keyboard fro the drums, and we recorded straight into a E Machines computer with a cheap sound card. Also our singers mic is of a cheaper variety and we didn't know much about mixing.

I can't get our singer to sound like he does live. He is been so-so about the recordings though other people have made some statements that we did him an injustice.

Also I had issues with controlling the guitars distortion.

Anyway the link is on my sig...this isn't a ploy to get people to listen to us, but just asking whether we should take them down and re-record them.

"Woke Up" was recorded 45 mins after I met the singer

"Zombies" was never even completed

"Insomniac" was written about working 2nd shift

Sounds like stoner-techno with that drum beat. The singers vocals scared the **** out of me when they kicked in. Bury him in the mix a little bit. It will do until you hit a real studio.

Sorry about that I should put a warning up on the vox kicking in.

He can project into the outer limits of Pluto...lol just had a hard time controlling that.

What does he sound like live that you're not capturing here? Get a few shots in him and slap him around, get him good and fired up, then tell him to go sing. Thats what we do.
