| | | Boy i'm rusty! sorry for all the fretting, trying to get back in shape after a long time of not touching a bass... Some Chords & Scales A song with a salsa bit
I have no idea why it recorded the bass on one side and the drums on the other, any ideas? I'm using on of those 2 channels mixers direct to Windows Movie Maker. The noise comes from the thingy I'm using as a drum machine.

I'm probably better at this than I am at music, LOL.

Given all that, I think we pulled it off without a major train wreck! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn6b4...7&feature=plcp |

| | | | Me on bass (6-string, picked) Our song called "Not a Word for the Way You Left Me." It's kinda like progressive hard rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWy2hYtBDkY

I created a balanced mix, as it sounds much more realistic (to my ears). There are so many instruments involved, which should also stay audible in the mix. I had te revise my efficiency to get it nailed. So, in a way it has contributed to my technique. There was no bass tab available, so I eared it and made the best of it...
