What I love about Clutch is how deceptively tricky their music is. It's tough to make some of those 'simpler' lines groove that hard, so I was pretty focused on keeping the pocket together on that one. I'm thinking of tackling Big News I some time soon.

My band have opened with Big News. Try 7-Jam... a great 7/8 groove that just melts your face off when you nail it. Impossible to play and not smile!

You're right about some of the deceptively tricky stuff. Dragonfly, Swollen Goat and Big Fat Pig all have moments of Maines at his best.

Keep it up mate, good stuff.
