Welcome to TB.

Beautiful clip. So many of these solo 'tapped' bass tones/recordings sound clicky and thin to me. Your tone is nice and warm and fat and 'musical'. I liked it a lot. Beautiful tone and playing!

For the tone, my styring are 4months "old" but used them quite a lot, the bass has such a great tone, warwick 2009 ltd, the bass of my life.
The bickup balance is slightly put on neck humbucker and on the 3 band eq i boost bass a lot so the left hand tapping has a real bass sound and the high eq a little to boost the right hand.

I have a mic on the left hand (beyer dynamics) so it gets more groove from my my bassline bickup don't get adding more groove and natural sound string fret sound.

The capo I put on fret 3 on A D G strings helps a lot to avoid having to tap left hand with strenght making it a sweater tone.

At last a Insert in the mixing desk my gt-6b for stereo effects, chorus reverb and delays...
