Silverback garage recording.

OK, I'm throwing myself to the wolves here. This is a recording we did in the garage where we practice. One take, first take. The best thing in the whole song is the cut at about 0:45. The vocals are scratch vocals, and we'll go back and put some new ones in.

This is our new singer who hadn't sung in about 5 years before she joined up with us about 3 months ago. Could be a little tighter, but have at it.

sounds good, man! has a motown/jefferson airplane vibe to it. i'd just bring the drums up a little, if possible. bass is nice and loud, and the line's quite well executed.

good stuff!

Thanks. I can bring the drums up. This isn't the final mix, I need to get input from the rest of the band. It's a pretty simple bass line for a pretty simple guy.

OK, I turned up the drums. Try the file that's in the OP again.

Sounds good, just don't put it in the same set as a cover of Aretha Franklin - Chain Of Fools, and yer fine.

Chain of Fools is on our lead guitar player's "no-play list."

great stuff! The lady needs a little more lows and a little less reverb... and to be out front a little more, but otherwise everyone seems to be talented musicians that work well together.

I'd come see a show if you were local!

Thanks, man. I can EQ her a little and back off the reverb.
