Basically if you like everything awesome about My Bloody Valentine and Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins, scope this record out. I got it new on 2XLP for a mere 15 bucks- and there's a bonus 7"! The guy's voice is a tad androgenous but the guitar tone, riffs, keyboard textures and songwriting are so catchy it's unbelievable. One of the best records I've heard in some time.

[Infernal Affair]

That's strange. I always thought the lead vocalist was a woman. He definitely has a husky woman's voice, but it's a good voice nonetheless. Really good band.
