Slap Bassist required for early KoRn/Sepultura's Roots style recording.

Hi guys, here's the story. 6 songs are written, lyrics/vocals are still being worked on and our vocalist sounds like a young Max Cavalera, all guitars are played on a 7 string with the B string tuned down to A (through a MESA Triple Rectifier and Marshall 1960A Quad), we are in the process of recruiting a drummer and we have 2 fellas doing synths and FX for us.

At the moment, all we need is a pro bassist with slapping abilities to learn the songs and for them to use his or her own bass intuition to strengthen the vibe of the songs. We are looking at recording in October/November.

This is not a one off recording, there will be many more to follow and has the potential to become a fully fledged band - which means if your an awesome bassist, and we love what you do on the first recording and we all get along, you could become a part of the group full time... and there is plans to head to America in the future once a record deal is underway.

Any interest or samples you may have to share with me, hit me up at bringbacktheriff@gmail.com

At the moment I am able to provide you with a sample of one of our songs which currently has programmed drums. I can also provide you with a song our singer is on from his old band. Btw, the singer was born and raised in Guatemala, so he has an awesome accent for metal and does not sound like all the boring screamers we have these days.

We age 24 - 27 and the music is similar to the likes of old KoRn, Sepultura's Roots, Pantera's metal grooves, a little Fear Factory Demanufacture style machine metal, and when the keys are present you might be thinking Rammstein. Our guitarist/songwriter lives in Sydney and this is where the recording will be done.

Cheers.
