What are some of your favorite '80s slap bass tunes?

"sledgehammer" by peter gabriel. although i guess that may have been the funk fingers. still, it sounds like slap and it's from the 80s so i think it qualifies.

Nice list. Somebody already added "Forget-Me-Nots" by Patrice Rushen. I would also add....

"Let's Work" Prince
"Bad Boy, Having A Party" Luther Vandross
"Glide" Pleasure
"Fantastic Voyage" Lakeside
"Strawberry Letter 23" Brothers Johnson (might have been late 70's)
