that one track, flesh something, had an awesome intro then got bland
cult is alright
the others are just remakes of the older stuff
not the best slayer album out there

Now I know that a lot of slayer stuff doesn't have much bass, but I think this was a little ridiculous. There is some bass in some of the intros, and thats it. boooooooo... 2) It seemed that every time there was going to be a solo, the song turned into a riff changing train wreck. It was worse than a stalling engine. The really sad part is that a lot of the album was written by King. You'ld think he'd have done better. Plus I really noticed a difference between Kings solos and Hannemans. Hanneman's were a lot smoother, and Kings seemed like scale exersizes. 3) I wish that King would get off his high horse and stop dissing religion on every song. I know he doesn't like it, but seriously, there must be other things that he can write about. Oh, and another thing, I wish that he'd quit writing about how satan is cool in the same song that he disses christianity. Does he not realize that satan is a predominatly christian figure. Actually there are a lot of bands that should be told that. It's kindof like the whole norwegian black metal thing. They hate christianity, supposedly, but a lot of them are doing the whole hail satan thing.
Anyway, time to put in a [/rant] code and be off! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
