Always good to see a fellow Sleep fan on here, there are a few, but not enough. Ha.

There was a thread a while back about Stoner Rock/Doom Metal, it went on for an impressive amount of time. Stoner/Doom is very much about super loud bass, so it makes sense that a bass forum would appreciate such things.

I need me some Sleep.

Matt, you'll be happy to know that since I get free Rhapsody at my workplace, I've been downloading tons of stoner tunes....the low end exuded by Electric Wizard alone made me feel blazed, and I've never smoked weed in my life.

Om is killer, too.

Totally, when Sleep split, not to take sides, but I prefer Om.

Electric Wizard, totally.

Great band... Volume One and Dopesmoker also kick ass.

I couldn't get into Volume 1, mainly due to production issues.

Sleep slayed! Seen 'em live in '94 NYC/Limelight w/VoiVod, killer show...

I like Om better than High on Fire, but Sleep was the best...IMO, of course...

I've been into Sleep for a long time, but recently I've been rekindled by their flame.

They just give me this feeling inside and all over, makes me want to lay under a tree.

I'm going down to Dekalb on the 27th to go see Russian circles again... the cool thing is I'll have another chance to see High On Fire as well!

Peace

-Benny
