So excited with my newest batch of recordings

So my band has been having some trouble with levels and getting an overall good quality recording to come out of the equipment we're using. We record a scratch guitar track and drums at the same time and everything else goes direct to our Korg d1600 workstation. Well last week we finally got a really good crisp drum sound and everything else really came into place. You can hear the most recent track Here.

The name of the song is called "Speedstar" and in my sig is the myspace link with all our old recordings. I think its a major improvement and just wanted to share.

Also, i noticed that i might need to either rerecord my lines or just copy it to another track and re-eq for a little more low mids and highs to stand out in the mix a little better. Its sounds amazing on the studio monitors but I'm loosing a little clarity when I play it on smaller speakers. I'd love some feedback as like I said I'm really exited about this.

Nice song. Your singer sounds a little like Mike Patton of Faith No More at some points, haha. Overall it sounds great, I definitely agree the bass track could use a little boost. I might also tweak the balance between guitar and vocals, the vocals seem to dominate a little bit, but that's just my ears, I don't know what kind of sound your band is going for.

Thanks guys. We're still not sure on the sound we're goin for, but this pretty much sums it up. I'm goin in today to rerecord a bass track. I've been using my Squier II P-Bass, but a friend of mine is going to let me use his Washburn Taurus T24. Never used it but he says it really nice. Any suggestions on that part?

Really cool! And yes, you could boost the bass track a bit.
Congrats on the song!
