So my band has been having some trouble with levels and getting an overall good quality recording to come out of the equipment we're using. We record a scratch guitar track and drums at the same time and everything else goes direct to our Korg d1600 workstation. Well last week we finally got a really good crisp drum sound and everything else really came into place. You can hear the most recent track
Here.
The name of the song is called "Speedstar" and in my sig is the myspace link with all our old recordings. I think its a major improvement and just wanted to share.
Also, i noticed that i might need to either rerecord my lines or just copy it to another track and re-eq for a little more low mids and highs to stand out in the mix a little better. Its sounds amazing on the studio monitors but I'm loosing a little clarity when I play it on smaller speakers. I'd love some feedback as like I said I'm really exited about this.
