Solo Bass Demo ver 1- not crap..really

Here is a little solo bass demo I put together earlier this year. Not the finished product and I'm prolly just going to completely re-record, but I am really happy with these 4 tracks. Check it out, I'm sure you fellow bassist will get a kick out of it. I'm going to start a myspace soon and stuff.

Very nice demos. The themes are really nice, developed ideas, without the chops-noodling sound that so many players seem to include. Great tone. What are you playing?

my opinion FWIW, was that they were nice ideas individually and certainly well executed; but listened to sequentially, I found there wasn't enough variation for each track to have its own identity. Maybe that aspect is something that would develop over several listens, but would yer average Joe (i.e not a bass player) give it the chance?

Of course, if your objective isn't world domination, then you prob won't worry too much about Mr Averages opinion, and I must confess I did replay the fourth one (my fave of the four) again while I was typing this.

+1 for the nice tone

I appreciate everyones opinion and I did want to answer a few questions..

Bass...Elrick Evo JJ (Ash Body,Spalted Maple Top,Wenge neck)
Gear...not worth mentioning, it sucked.

I really appreciated your honest opinion phatbassdood. I think I should have premised this a little. These are tracks that I wrote after I was inspired by a bass day dvd I saw(I have more, but I didn't have time to record them). This isn't any kind of demo I'm sending to candyrat or other other labels. But none the less, I think its good stuff and will personally agree that it isn't music I would even listen to every day. And I'm pretty sure most of the stuff will never be appreciated/enjoyed by people other than bassist or possibly other musicians.

Keep the stuff commin.
