Hey
I had a really great gig last night with my friend Tom Pilling - a seriously fantastic piano/keyboard player (one of the best in London in my opinion) - it was just the two of us, both going through his cool PA rig, I'm using my Thumb bass - and we played our asses off - minus drummer - it was such a lovely chance to stretch and improvise.
Here's a tune we completely improvised - Tom is playing an Indian flute on the start then switches to piano in the middle - I'm in Wooten mode for this one - filling the bass and harmony and yes there's some slap - let me know what you think. Sideways MP3 http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=63372
Cheers

I enjoyed every minute of it.

Tom and I have such a good rapport as players, we're close friends as well, but we definitely bring out the best in each other - thanks for all the positive words.

Sorry again but I don't want to offer this as a download just yet.

What it is is probably the name the browser registers himself with the website, and that can be hacked to work, but I can't be bothered.
It's not your fault, It's just... THE INTERNETS!!! And my stubborn convictions. I'd like to give it a hearing though. I may just install the damn thing

Excellent stuff- almost sounds like a percussionist is in there! |
