http://www.myspace.com/dtwilkinson

I have some original solo stuff on my myspace and pretty soon (for those of you who added me already), I will be recording about 4 to 6 more tracks in the near future. People getting my hyped about this would make it happen sooner (so, convince me people actually want to hear this stuff lol!)

There is also a track from the group im playing with Ampersand (beauty Within/Time), im using my pre gib tobias on that track....if you like that stuff add us too (Our myspace has some cool live vids too..bass love baby!)(http://www.ampersandsoulmusic.comMore

Enjoy, its real chill and the recording are pretty decent!

I have to sadly post that it looks like I will have to sell the bass I have been using for these solo recordings...if ur at all interested, check out bassgear.com

I honestly haven't played solo in a while and this thread was in hopes that people would revive my enthusiasm to record again, but it really didn't. I know people like solo music, im just not sure how much I like it anymore. It was fun for a season, but now I don't see solo music as a practical use and display of me as a player. Its not going to help me get a gig, or land me studio time. Bummers, maybe one day when i have a netter job I could afford to buy her back, right now im in debt to my credit union because I made purchases like this instead of buying a car with cash.

Wow, this is good stuff. I have some solo bass stuff aswell, though of a less talent-intensive vein. Very Michael Manring...

You got yourself an add from me.

I did get a new job since I made this post....the bass is staying. Now I want a Smith...I wish I could post youtube links here (my work blocks youtube) but if you guys want to hear/see some amazingly awesome solo playing look up Alex Moran Bass on youtube...he is litterally amazing in melody and technique.
