Solos with Chords

Can anyone recommend any good solos that are chord based like Newsteds solo on Cunning Stunts or Stu Hamms Love Thang? I know Stu plays a few songs in that solo, I'm just talking about the first part. I like to practice that kind of stuff, I'm just looking for more songs like it. Thanks

Not solos but try out "seeman" by ramnstein or "no one knows" by green day , great chord work there .

If you liked that one by Stu, try two of his other solos, Nostalgia and November. Both are pretty cool!

As for a chard based solo, well, Rosa by Jonas Hellborg is chord based and dancces around the chords a lot. Tricky to work out but I got there in the end, this is certainly one to try, it's a beautiful piece of music!

Everything Michael Dimin does solo involves chords. Michael Manring Steve Lawson and Jeff Schmidt also use some but not as much as Michael Dimin.

His website has some great information
