Some crazy mathy metal (vid)

Here is a pretty cool clip of some studio stuff we threw together with Giann Rubio from Aghora. We prob spent about 2 hrs writing this song, maybe an hour recording a few live takes. Some cool mathy time sig stuff in this and *crazy* drumming around 2:30. The drumming is pretty amazing throughout actually.

I didnt use my usual Mesa stuff for this. Just plugged into an SVP and dialed in my usual frequencies.

Yeah. I'm sorry to be the one to have to tell you this, but that is clearly an Earth Crisis song. It's been too long since I've listened to them, so I cant tell you which song, I'd have to relisten to the albums I have, but I've definitely heard that before.

I've never heard Earth Crisis but if they write songs in this type of style, it's right up my alley.

maybe it's just me, but I don't hear earth crisis in that at all.

Cool riffs man. Also, that drummer has good time. It must have been fun to play with him.
