Very nice job on the solos. Sounds like you nailed Jaco's tone also.
Thanks for posting the links

Wow, really good job, first time I've seen someone play the Havona solo. You're a great player!

Great job, Joe! You nailed one of the most important attributes; fluidity. No choppy chops!

Great, Now I'm gonna go home and play bass for about 15 hours straight tonight after seeing that...

It would be AWESOME if you could play/record Donna Lee on top of the chord changes. In my opinion, if you haven't heard the piece before, it can sound like a bunch of notes played rapid fire. I know it used to sound like that to me, in fact, I thought it sounded pretty stupid til I heard someone play it over the chords. Now it makes chills run down my spine.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys.

I'm not sure what the amp settings were. I just plugged into my Dads amp which he uses for his electric upright.
My bass settitngs are pretty simple. The neck pickup doesn't work, neither does the tone control so it's just bridge pickup on full.

Cheers,
Joe.

Very smooth! You've obviously got the chops to execute this stuff...I would love to hear you play some of your own ideas.
