Hey guys, first of all Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to everyone (hope I won't get in trouble for saying that lol).
Secondly, I'd love some feedback on my new band's recordings - we've been in and out of the studio for the past few months working on a demo - albeit a rather expensive and well produced one, even though the stupid MySpace player won't show that one very well.
Anyways, we're called The Red Limit and you can hear our tunes here.
Cheers.
PS much better sound quality on the ReverbNation player if you scroll down the page a bit. |

You should feel proud of this work; I know I would if I had helped create it. |

If I had any critique it would be that I would have liked to have heard a little more definition in the bass tracks. They sound a little muted on my stuff. Not much, could just be the MySpace bitrate.
I could hear everything you did. I just liked it enough I wanted to hear a little more. |

There's a reason why women love us bass players. The tone is like Barry White's voice, and the strings are thick like Ron Jeremy's...well, you get the point.

Steve, yeah the Myspace player really sucks, we have slightly better quality tracks a bit further down on the page in the Reverb Nation player if you're into it. |

The vocals are lost in the mix. I'm personally not a fan of hard panning guitars but that's a personal thing for me. The bass playing, however, is kick ass!! I dig the bass line in Wolf! |

We're actually planning to include 2 versions of "Big Bad Wolf" on the CD, the "club mix" that we have up right now, and a more rocked-up version, though we're still tracking that one.
Again thanks for the listens. |

Again thanks for the listens. | thats what happened with our song Out Of Reality...i kinda wrote the parts while we were jamming one day in practice with a very funky bass heavy feel, i toned it down a bit for the recording, i wish i had a solid live recording, the bass is a little more involved |

Yeah same here, the producer made me tone it down a little from my initial idea, but that's usually a good thing for the album... should be a fun one to let loose on live though |
