Some Polish Metal For You

I play currently in a Polish metal band with my best friend Kris Sobanski.

We have a couple samples up at www.myspace.com/KrisSobanski

a little insight on the bass equipment used for recording since this IS a bass site.

Ashdown Superfly
Ibanez SR-505
Rickenbacker 4001
MXR Blowtorch
MXR Bass DI

The Rickenbacker was used in We Must Die and the Blowtorch was used in Twilight Ensemble.

I tend to frown upon metal bands that are named after the frontman. Music is pretty good, nice bass tone.

How is it Polish Metal if you are from RI? The vocals on We Must die are really... weird. Musics good though. It's hard for me to review metal these days since I only like certain subgenres of metal. So this is more a "I listened, and here's a bump."

I agree with Matt...the only metal band to have come out recently that I can say I'm a big fan of is Mastodon. I guess I got stuck in the 90's when death metal was death metal.

Still some pretty good tunes with some great riffs.
