Here's a link to the 1st of 3 songs I did when I took some time off TB last week:

Please leave the usual feedback, questions, and concern for my sanity. Thank you

As always, enjoy!

I think it should have built to something. I'm too big on ultra minimalism unless the end result is utter chaos. It's like I liked it as a 4-5 minute song, not so much a 8-9. But as a 4-5 minute song it's really weird, which is good.

I just listened to it again and realized that the noise wasn't really as much as I thought. Just a big 60Hz hum, which I can hear on my stereo, but not my laptop.... It would have probably been more interesting with a different noise background. Like that of my 3rd song: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attach...1&d=1173310911

Probably the only reason it ended up that long was cus the 60Hz hum was hypnotizing. Especially at the volume level I played at... I was just to lazy to edit it down IIRC. No other reason

SX Jazz 5 -> PODxt (bean controlled w/ FBV longboard)

I forget what exactly the patch settings were, but it involves lots of gain and verb. The random pitches are just that, random. There is a random sample/hold effect on the POD. I controlled the hold time with one of the exp pedals on the longboard. I also had some speaker/pup feedback too.

Glad you liked it
