I like it.
I personally prefer this kind of "tasteful" slap to the "clicky clacky" stuff (which I tend to do sometimes, BTW )

I dig the riff and melody although the sound of your bass is a bit tiny to my ears.

Nice! One thing, and its very minor..... your " funkface" is so dang STOIC. loosen up brother, feel it, dig it, SMILE! Good chops. Keep it coming.

Dont worry about the sound, that's completely subjective, that bass is very "modern" sounding.

Vic Wooten has a bass lesson tomorrow night, and also check out Doug Johns on you tube. Some freebie stuff to move your chops along! I think you'd like Doug's you tube on "rustling", which isnt "clicky-clacky!

haha yeah i know, but it's just not in my personality. i rarely play this sort of genre, and actually don't even like it very much, but i just like changing things up every once in a while.
