Songs for a wedding.

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this. I was wondering if anyone knows good songs to play at weddings.

My band has a wedding gig coming up and we've never done one before. I'm sure there are plenty of people here who have done wedding gigs before. What works well? What does the crowd usually enjoy most? Obviously looking for mostly up-tempo stuff they can dance to, with a few slow ones thrown in. Thanks in advance.

As a side note, they want us all to play during the ceremony as well, isn't that odd?

Cheesey, lovey-dovey crap, also rocking uptempo stuff- preferably of the bride & groom's era. Also of their formative years(high school, etc). IME, they- or at least she- will have some very specific requests(have they not made said requests?).
Yes on *odd*.

It's Over - Prism

Sure to go over well

Ya, just about any love song will do:

Lady In Red,
Groovy Kind Of Love,
Till Death Do Us Part (Mike Tramp/White Lion) <---great one, wedding/love theme
Have I told You Lately
etc.

They have made zero requests, which makes things difficult. They're in college right now. I should know stuff because I'm in college as well, but I don't really keep up with pop music.

Any suggestions for sappy slow songs?
