I conceived of this tune to be performed when I would play solo bass following a much louder band or act where the crowd talks/shouts even LOUDER over them. The idea of “Sorbet” is to cleanse the “aural pallet” for my performance. Either the crowd will be forced to quiet down and listen, or step outside for a smoke.
